![]() ![]() I really hate to say this here but the last time I lost an hour's work on my Thinkpads was more than 15 years ago. ![]() Please note that the only Applications open are: Finder, Chrome, Mail and Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet no greater than say 200kb).Īll apps are fully up-to-date, I have also installed the latest High Sierra additional update.and today I've lost at least one hour's work because of this error.Īs I have only started to use the Macbook just now, I can't really say whether there was a problem prior to updating to the High Sierra (didn't get any warnings though while I had the previous "Sierra 10.12" that the Macbook came with.) I have just started using it only recently (came with Sierra 10.12, I updated it a few days ago with the High Sierra 10.13), and a couple of hours after having started work, my Macbook starts getting very slow, and eventually I get the error message "you have run out of Application Memory, please terminate some applications" error. This is my new baby Macbook, with High Sierra 10.13, 8GB RAM and the 256GB Hard Drive. ![]()
